An ideal starting point for children's creativity. We got this for a baby when she was 14 months plus a large drawing pad and she loves it. "Wow!" she exclaims, drawing a pencil across the paper and a line appears. I think it's pretty amazing when you see it for the first time! Be sure to get some pads — you don't need crayons on the walls until you've replaced the matte finish with some washable Sherwin Williams. :) One note: the box falls apart quickly so consider getting a box to keep it in or you'll step on it in the middle of the night and break it. The kid liked to just take them out of the box and take them out so they wore out in a week. No recommendations yet, but I'm sure there is a plastic pencil case or something that will do.
