Full Disclaimer: I'm most likely not a baby. But I just got Invisalign installed. The first day. Not that bad. At the beginning. And then that uncomfortable aching pain started to creep in. My teeth. my jaw. the embarrassment was just beginning to spread. First I tried the towel which I choked on. I then switched to a silicone teether, which worked, but wasn't quite the right shape and its roundness was a bit uncomfortable. I read from an Invisalign user that flat orthodontic horseshoe aligners work best, but was unable to purchase one. I found this teether and along with EverSmile OrthoChews bars (ok but the shape is relatively small and only covers the area where you chew and it's expensive), foam rubber (oh. small shape but still big enough for me) bought still choking on it, the foam snaps out of shape, flattens out and stays flat with no rebound), and silicone gums with a grip (okay, but again, the small shape keeps the bump area just the size of the gum). I keep coming back to that. It works very well for me to put the bristly end completely in your mouth and just remove the chewing gum. The shape almost covers my entire bite area. helped me a lot. I'm so *relieved* to have found this. I just bought more so I always have one on hand. Also very affordable. Cons: The container is awkward to open the first time, but you should keep this teether (or ziplock bag) in it as things get stuck to it easily and it doesn't feel good in your mouth once. What's happening. It helps slide the nail along the opening site. I wish you could choose a color because I ALWAYS choose blue; however, given the relief it gave me. I'll *definitely* take this teether in any color.
