This is a great device for people who need to keep track of all the little things that happen day in, day out. I used my iPhone to take quick mental notes, but some things ended up escaping me because I had to unlock my phone, go to the app, and then hit the record button. It seems like a minor annoyance, but it really stopped me from absorbing everything I thought I needed. What I really like about this device is its statement of the obvious. This is something separate designed to record and play vinyl records. I've had it for a little over a day now and I have to say I'm already using it a lot more than my iPhone and I feel like I have more peace of mind because I can capture everything. SEARICK is very simple. You have a power button and a record button that you use to start recording. It also features an automatic shut-off. So if you're constantly recording something throughout the day, you can leave it on and just press one button. Several things I like: * It feels solid and is a good weight * There is a way to get MP3s on the device and play them (not sure I'll use that) * Comes with enough recording time over the one that comes with it SD card supplied. I think it's an hour and 15 minutes with the default recording quality setting.
