My old workhorse USB stick mysteriously died a few days ago so I was desperate to replace it. The old one was only 8GB and I was happy to upgrade to a larger drive. This device is small but has a protective cover that can be thrown over the working end. It worked, finding right out of the package. Granted, this is a 2.0 device, meaning it's a bit older technology, but I've received transfer rates of 15+GB (sometimes up to 5, but that depends on file size and other variables). In other words, it's not the most advanced solution, but if you're looking for a simple flash drive to store and carry, this is definitely the way to go.
