First review: The best I've ever used. Good quality. You only need about half a teaspoon of shower gel as this "loofah" creates a lot of soapy foam. I have used two different brands and types of shower and bath gel. Works effectively, gently exfoliates and cleanses the skin. You need to wash it and squeeze the excess soap under the showerhead or faucet for about 3 full minutes to remove all the soap. This soap removal process is very important. Otherwise, soap deposits remaining in this product can accumulate bacteria. Letting it dry is also important. Update: I developed a severe staph skin infection after using this loofah. I had to take antibiotics for a month to get rid of the infection. I do not recommend this product!
