Internet. Love seeing it in person to check the type of metal, thickness etc. So I'm bidding on this set and I'm blown away! First, the thickness of these pans is ideal. Other metal pans can be flimsy and prone to warping. Not in this case. They should be 3/8 inch thick. They are strong but not heavy. I haven't washed them in the dishwasher yet. Instead of. they literally just disappear. Eggs, sauces, pasta, whatever. Everything is just deleted. You can then hand wash and you're ready to go! No soaking or scrubbing! Finally, I would like to emphasize that these are damn quiet pots! Without the lid, they roast meat or vegetables as loudly as any pan, but when you put the lid on they're very, very quiet. I was amazed when I first noticed this. Definitely buy these pans.
