The brightness is wonderful. I've had them for several months and they still retained battery- love the big light from such a little flashlight BUT: Initially, upon first pressing in the button on top to turn it on, my finger went right through it! It pushed the button in, (and I have tiny delicate hands.size 4 ring finger!) My son 'fixed it', as it was rendered unusable after ONE USE! But, he repaired it.a little work. Since then, in forgetting- I've done it several times. each time, my son was able to put the piece back in place- and repair it. It must be made in 'CHINA'? This is a problematic defect. If they made the button sturdier, I would give them a 5 star rating! Sad when the 'makers' have to be so cheap- and not make them sturdy. I'm annoyed with the quality of workmanship. Great little light though!
