Our dining table is supported by a four-legged pedestal at the base. The pedestal itself was split vertically, so when weight was applied to one side, the table wobbled and the crack widened. Lots of glue, this plate is on the bottom, and the table is like new. I had to clamp really seriously to put it all together so the repair didn't leave a gap.
