Every DIY enthusiast has a hole saw set. This is just one of those tools. Core drills are essentially drills with a saw blade around them. As the name suggests, they bore holes in wood and metal. Given the choice, I would prefer to use a spade bit or a self feed bit. But I don't always have that choice. The bits work with both my less powerful drill bits and larger 1/2" drill bits. Crowns is that after each use you have to stop and unplug from the waste that tends to get stuck in the crown. Luckily does the lenox have slots on the sides that you can stick a screwdriver in to persuade things What I love about these crowns is that lenox includes a mandrel with every crown in the set you no longer have to remove the mandrel from a crown to to use it on another which is great! the heat of use makes these mandrels very difficult to remove! Body - Each hole saw has its own place where it is placed in the blow molded body. The saws will not roll or bang against each other. Metal locks!I had a feeling this case would survive on a construction site.Price - I paid about $75 for a set that comes in sizes 7/8,1,11/8,13/4,2,21/2 in held. The saws are 1 and 3/4 deep so they can penetrate any standard double frame.
