Review on ⏰ Timex T309T Radio Alarm Clock: Titanium with Nature Sounds (Discontinued by Manufacturer) - A Reliable Way to Wake Up Naturally by Brooke Watts

Poor user interface best in clock radio

First the good things: The battery backup is useful and the sound is much better than traditional clock radios. The problem is that using this watch is almost as difficult as programming a VCR, which is bad news for a device that needs to be used when you're tired. You must keep the instruction manual next to this watch. Even this cannot be enough. Yesterday, guide in hand, it took me a few minutes to figure out how to snooze an alarm clock indefinitely (fortunately, it's much easier to just snooze it for a day, although the difference between snoozing it and snoozing it Switching off for the day buttons is not intuitive). I still don't fully understand why I finally managed to turn off the alarm indefinitely after repeated attempts using the sequence outlined in the instructions. I suspect there's an undocumented but necessary time lag between pressing one button and pressing a second button that turns the device off. Another feature that surprised me is the time display, which is a backlit LCD rather than an LED. It might be personal taste, but I find the LCD both more obtrusive and difficult to read in a darkened room. In daylight, however, this type of display looks more stylish.
