The screen is quite thick like normal glass screens. I chose this screen over others I've seen as they claim this screen doesn't ruin the Apple Pencil as much as others as the surface is smoother which is what I was looking for. It writes fairly smoothly and comfortably with an Apple Pencil compared to the bare glass screen, but if you really want a rough "paper" experience, this isn't what you're looking for. It was easy to install; You simply place the frame on your iPad, peel the sticker off the screen and stick it face down. However, the most difficult and annoying part was cleaning a part of the iPad. They give you 2 guide stickers (which you don't even need) and 1 dust sticker for each of the 2 screens. The dust sticker is terrible, it removed the dust but left the sticker marks (from the glue) on the screen and I had to clean it several times but it still didn't remove the sticker marks. So I had to use a different dust sticker I got from another screen protector I used for my laptop and it worked better than this vendor's sticker. The dust sticker used by this supplier is too thick and pressure sensitive compared to the other stickers I have used. I just got this so I'll probably update a few months later to see how the screen works with a pencil and all.
