Review on 🦈 Advanced Shark IQ RV1001 Robot Vacuum with Home Mapping & Wi-Fi Connectivity, in Sleek Black Design (Auto-Empty Dock Not Included) by Tracy Thrash

I waited a few months to write this review because I wanted to give the vacuum cleaner time to make its map and show me what it's made of. Here is my analysis. First I would like to start by saying that my bot has a firmware dated January 10, 2020. Previous firmwares were full of bugs and problems. Since the latest firmware, the robot does exactly what it's supposed to and even finished my apartment with a complete edge cleaning. New prank! (You check the firmware version in the Shark app. Be careful not to confuse this with the app version.) Second, this thing is loud. It doesn't bother me too much, but you definitely don't want to be watching a movie or doing anything that requires low noise levels. However, this noise is due to the design of the brush and funnel. The canister has a static plastic filter that the brushes pass through with each revolution. This causes a lot of noise the machine makes, but I apologize for it as it keeps the brush head clean. I've never had to clean my brush since I got it. In contrast, with other robots I had to clean the brushes one or more times. Eventually, over time, this thing will create a map of your home. You can create zones and specify which room or zone to clean. My advice for this feature: 1) Turn on all the lights in the house so he can reliably use them as points of interest. 2) Move the chairs to the side to help the bot. It may seem cumbersome, but it speeds up the work. 3) If you have furniture that can move, try to leave it in the same place every time you start the car so it doesn't interfere with the map. (I have a coffee table on wheels that I push into the corner.) Overall I'm very happy with this robot (for now) and it does what I need it to do: keep my space clean and I don't have to vacuum it myself . Disclaimer: I don't have any pets, so I can't speak to self-grooming brushes if you have pets that shed a lot.
