First I bought slippers that were a little higher than the ankles and they didn't really break because my daughter has chunky feet. They are perfect because thanks to the elastic on the inside and also around the ankle they fit tight enough around the ankle to stop but definitely not tight. They hold up well for all of her lucky kicks, and the bottom holds are great when she's in her sweater on our tile floor or her grandparents' hardwood floor. They are so soft and very cute! Delivery was very fast next day even during this 2020 pandemic. They keep your feet warm. She is 5 months old but has a big butt and is already wearing 9 month clothes. I bought slippers for her from 0 to 6 months based on the size chart and they fit well as expected! If she outgrows this pair I will definitely be ordering another pair in the next size up!
