The tool is convenient, I give it to him, but it is painful to use. The ratchet itself requires pressure to work and when you try to squeeze the plunger you need to hold onto the body of the ratchet pin to allow it to rotate back and forth. Also, nowhere was it mentioned that you would need to use 1 pad for the device to work. Why? Because the auger on the plate is too short, otherwise the plunger will be pushed out completely before it falls out of the device itself. So does it work? Yes, can I get a similar tool for 1/2 money or less? Heck, and probably a lot less headaches. Sigh.
