Ubiquiti products are on a whole other level. After installing this product along with one of their PoE switches to power it, I replaced all of the networking equipment in my house with Ubiquiti products. You are so good. It's stupid to use anything else. A few things to keep in mind. Unifi is a product line by Ubiquiti. All products in the Unifi line use the same controller software and can be recognized by the software. But products that aren't part of the Unifi range, like the ER Lite router, aren't recognized by the controller software. So make sure you're buying products from the same family of products, which is likely Unifi if you're not a global company. Why are Ubiquiti products so much better than consumer products? Because they can handle connections over 100 Mbps, which is becoming more and more common now, because they can be managed, configured and updated with controller software, because you can see the Wi-Fi coverage in your home, because Wi-Fi - Hotspots coordinate with each other can result in client connections. It's like newborn. Say goodbye to network problems.
