This holder fits perfectly. I lost my overdrive and when I removed the transmission sump and valve body I found that my original was broken and bits of it were laying on the valve body. I replaced the detent and removed the plate from the valve body to find the broken piece. fell into the valve body and my overdrive silonoid got stuck, I took the pliers, found the broken piece of the retainer and put it all back together. The gearbox has been added back and everything works great. This part saved me over $1500. Took me about 1.5 hours from start to finish disassembling and repairing it with just two sockets and a pair of pliers. Be sure to inspect the valve body for broken retaining parts!
