Review on Mountain Hardwear FL Belay Glove by Kevin Bigelow

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Made for insurance, used for education: could be more powerful.

Not purchased for insurance purposes. What I really wanted was a durable, well-made training glove. After using training gloves from other brands but being disappointed with their durability, I decided to see if they would work: belaying required a lot of manual work and strong grip, so I figured they would work. Right out of the box it was a good fit; In this case, that's even a plus point, because the leather seems to be of very high quality. Slim but feels very strong. Back to the tight fit: after 2 workouts of heat and sweat, they've loosened up enough to be really comfortable (like a busted baseball glove). Although these are the most expensive "workout gloves" I've ever bought, I'm pretty sure they'll last a long time and keep the comfort I'm feeling now.
