They used to be great but the quality has dropped considerably
I bought a set of these hangers for my suits late last year and was very impressed with their quality - solid wood and sanding perfectly smooth. Since then they've transitioned to much cheaper and thinner woods, replaced the felt plank with cheaper material that fell straight out of the box, and they no longer have a smooth finish - there are holes and rough edges running the length of the hangers. I was so pleased with the hangers that I bought for the first time that I was willing to pay more (almost twice more than the competition) to get a few more - obviously I'm very disappointed.
