This device serves its purpose very well. The function is self-explanatory, no instructions are required. If you don't immediately understand their function, you may need to reconsider your decision to play the mechanic. The only feature I could see that I would have done differently is the size of the hole for the end of the cable, which could have been smaller for a better seal. This can easily be compensated for by holding the end of the cable against the hole during pressurization. I used WD40 to lubricate since the cable was on the snowmobile and I needed a light cold temperature lube. worked fine I quickly sprayed grease on all the joints and ends and completely repaired the cable. The cable jacket on the clamp side worked perfectly and fits several jacket sizes. I have bought 3 of these devices and am very happy with my purchase.
