Doesn't work as well as other products

I bought this insert for my guinea pigs in their 'penthouse' bunk cage where they don't spend much time. It feels durable, easy to clean and doesn't leak. However, it does not absorb liquids very well. The surface feels damp and the smell does not linger. I don't regret the purchase but I don't think I will buy it again.
