In general the mirror holds up very well. I've had them for 3 months now. They fit perfectly on my 1996 Silverado and sit parallel to the floor/level. The only problem I have is that I tilted the glass so much that it caught the wind and the glass wobbled. No plastic housing, but glass inside. It's hard to see on the freeway, but I can see well enough to change lanes. The glass is clean, good quality, no distortion. That only happens when the glass is tilted too far (because I'm sitting close to the steering wheel), no problem when they're set to my friend if that makes sense. Works well to support my large horse trailer.
