The best I could find and almost perfect

Pretty good stuff sack for DSLR + lens up to 400mm/f4. The interior of the roll-top has been improved over previous reviews, with waterproof, clear plastic replacing the inner fabric in the upper, where it could absorb water and soak inwards. I bought them for clients to use on the open ocean whale watching RIB (zodiac style boat) I run in California. On windy days we got very wet from the salt spray and rain and I had to reassure the photographers that their gear was protected and accessible. They keep gear perfectly dry when properly closed. Two of these have been on my boat almost daily for the past eight months and are still working fine. Three improvements make the bags perfect: 1. High-quality clips made of plastic or stainless steel on the shoulder straps. Under the influence of salt water, the clamps will rust quickly.2. Remove the two mesh pockets inside. They simply hook onto the lens hood when storing the camera in a bag.3. Place the strap fasteners in the corners, not in the middle of the side panels (ie at the junction where black meets gray, not in the middle of the black panel). The top/bottom placement is good, but since the brackets are in the middle of the panels, the bag compresses when the straps are used to attach the bag to the deck of the kayak or, in my case, to the back of the boat seat. This means when the straps are tightened to keep the bag from dangling, the interior becomes flat and the camera is difficult to get in and out of. This also means that the cross-cut roller is overstressed by the tension of the fastening point when closed and filled. These stresses cause the bag to wear out sooner than it should.
