Review on Chieftec GPX-850FC 850W power supply by Janis Skrindzevskis ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The right product for me, there were no problems.

Bought for a system with Ryzen 5 2600, RTX 2070 and two RTX 2060 Super. No problems have been identified, if any - I will add a review. Has some pros: + very quiet, absolutely nothing is heard (there is no squeak, the fan does not seem to be working). + price (I took it to Onlinetrade for 7.3K - for 850W a very adequate price, considering 80 Plus Gold). + low heating. + fully modular. + 5 years warranty. + includes a power cable, a cable for a processor, a mother, 3 video cards (each of the cables has 2 connectors of 6 + 2pin), SATA, Molex. + a long cable for the processor (maybe it will be important for someone, because I have a second power supply of the same company, but the proton series and in my case the wire from the proton barely reached, I had to pull it with force ). + cool design (again, I didn’t like the blue sticker on the side of the proton, especially relevant for cases where the PSU is not covered by the case). + a trifle, but the wires went in a cool case (now I put all sorts of PC tools in it. On the Market, the case is visible in photo 7 :)). + small size With its cons: - CWT platform (although in many tests modern CWTs also have good models). - the cables are inserted very tightly until they click (they are also difficult to get, respectively). - the motherboard cable is strangely connected to the PSU (the cable consists of 2 halves, which is normal, but in order to connect them, you need to strongly bend one of the halves, respectively, it twists).

It's a shame that the cooler began to crack. You will have to bother with the return or change the cooler yourself.
