Review on ISpring RCC7AK Capacity Drinking Remineralization by Bim Cook

Revainrating 5 out of 5

At first I was afraid to install it

What I didn't like: 1) The packaging was quite heavy. I groaned a little as I picked it up. (Hey, I had to find SOMETHING!) But I'm pretty picky, so I'll update this review if I find any more flaws. I think I should add that I almost peed my pants when I heard a loud click as I inserted the reverse osmosis membrane cartridge into her body while her support guy was on the phone (see below). But everything was fine after checking if the cartridge survived and if I needed to change my underwear. Likes: 1) I won't say it was easy because it really takes several hours. However, YouTube has videos of the company and individuals installing this product and other companies' systems. In the detailed instructions for the system, it says in bold that you have to watch the video first. I advise you to watch as many different videos as possible. I found many tips that iSpring didn't mention, including using a freshly drilled drill bit to line up the hole, why install a "drain saddle". I did the installation "in my free time". That is, I unfolded the filters and placed them in the case while sitting on a chair. Before I knew it, I was 75% ready! All I had to do was clear some space under the sink, grab my tools and work light, and start installing the feedwater adapter. (I chose not to refer to it as a "thing" so now I had to look up the part name in their glossary.) 2) Your customer service has been great! They were very patient holding hands on the phone. For example, the service manual shows an old compression fitting for a faucet they supplied. Well I overlooked that they included an upgrade guide that mentioned that the new part included is easier to install and no you don't have to use the blue clips on the side of the faucet. It really made things easier! I was also concerned that the reverse osmosis membrane cartridge would resist my efforts. I was afraid of breaking it, but the threads were still sticking out of the case. So during a conversation with one of the guys, I got a little more aggressive when I inhaled it and heard a "click” too loud! I think mine fits a little tighter than most as it works great. Pooh! 3) Your documentation is excellent! Not only are the illustrations very clear with the appropriate use of color when routing the lines, they also provided a parts list, additional products (of course!) cannot be removed by the RO. It was almost "reverse osmosis 101"!4) Quality parts! Some idiot gave them an "A" because they're made of polymers! Did he expect everything to be surgical grade stainless steel? My god, even plumbers are using "plastic" in their homes, and have been for 40 years! This guy was either an idiot or a dishonest competitor. You can't even buy a metal system!
