I had to switch to Basilisk from my G703 due to double click issues so I got this keyboard to celebrate my move to Razer. My old keyboard is G915. There is nothing wrong with this keyboard! I'm just a wireless enthusiast, cables are a nightmare. One of the reasons I love Razer so much is that they make their own switches! Razer Greens are compared to Cherry Blues which are my all-time favorite switches, not that Logitec half-profile switches are bad, but I was missing the key travel. Although I wouldn't say this keyboard is as attractive as the g915! I really think the RGB is brighter on the g915 and the matte metal on this keyboard is pretty darn cool. However, the matte keycaps are textured and look fantastic compared to the g915's glossy keycaps with fingerprint magnets. And without the RGB, it reminds me of my Dell keyboard growing up. It's a really nice aesthetic and very unassuming. This wrist rest is omfg. The best thing I've ever used is literally like a pillow! I've never held a palm rest before. They always collected dust in the box until I decided not to return the keyboard and then it ended up in the trash, but this one is the one I'll be using for a long time. I will say that it was the most difficult keyboard ever. To install. Chroma is powerful software and I can do a lot more than with Logitec or Steelseries. I especially like that you can add an audio visualizer and a layer below to toggle the spectrum between green and yellow when iTunes is disabled. But synapse sucks. You better have a backup keyboard because if you don't have Synapse installed, you're screwed. This is not a plug and play keyboard. And it got stuck installing firmware and didn't work in wireless mode, only in wired mode. It took me about 2 days to find this official Razer Resync tool and now it works and I can write this review. v3-pro-pairing-utility-guide I'm a big fan of Razer and Logitec. They're both great keyboards (after finally setting them up lol) so if the switches are more important then you might prefer this keyboard. If form factor and looks are more important, you might prefer the g915. But that armrest omg. 5 star ergonomics is more like 50 stars
