Review on Motorcycle Stainless Water Proof Adventure Accessories by Jeff Keegan

It's actually not that bad.

There are many negative reviews for this product. i understand why It's not ideal. In reality, however, everything is not so bad. First of all, charging the Toura is not worth it. They want $229. It's definitely NOT worth it. However, I found it here for about $50. It's worth it. It's true that it's just a plastic box with some metal inserts. It is also true that it will flow without much effort. It is also true that it is not "safe". It could be cracked with simple hand tools. It looks pretty good though, it fits either side of the bike depending on which side the exhaust is on. (Although listed for late model bikes, it will fit 2005 and later bikes.) Once installed, it fits well and looks like it belongs to him. Hardware appears to be of good quality. Is this stainless steel. To eliminate the possibility of leaks, I removed the metal parts, split the body in half and glued it together, sealing the seam. Once installed it is solid and doesn't interfere with anything. It's big enough for my small jump pack, small air compressor, and tire repair kit, plus some extra tools, etc. I wouldn't keep money, passports, or any other important/valuable items in it (except maybe a few $20 for an emergency), though it's secure enough and unobtrusive for basic supplies and tools. Overall I think it's a good value for $50 and 30 minutes of work. I will update this if anything changes.
