These pneumatic fittings work great. I think people who have problems don't really know what they're doing. I've been building industrial equipment and using these components for over 35 years. They work just as well as any other brand of this type of fitting. The pipe must be cut at right angles. For plastic pipes it is best to use a pipe cutter. And the fitting must be screwed into a clean 1/4" NPT thread, not a straight thread, British thread or any other type of thread. The pipe sealant on the fitting is all that is needed to seal the threads. . ..This is a common sealant used by many faucet manufacturers.People who say it needs to be removed don't understand what they are talking about.Don't over tighten and the faucet will work as it does should.
