Seems ok for the price - just not sure if it works or I have a defective VHS tape.
Hard to say if it really works, but I can't complain about the price. I bought new VHS tapes and re-recorded them; I get jumps and the tape automatically ejects because it reaches a point where it can no longer be played. So I end up moving past some spots on the tape, it works fine. Again - not sure if a video cleaner is meant to prevent cracking; it may be due to the quality of VHS tapes. I have a liquid cleaner and I think it could be better. I have had this product for several months now.
