Review on 🔶 Toyo Origami Paper - Single Color (Gold), 15cm, Pack of 100 Sheets by Heather Shaw

I ordered this paper because I like making gold owls for my students when they achieve certain goals. This paper was golden enough for my purposes, although some might find it a bit cheeky. The color seems more yellow gold to me than orange gold. The paper is exactly the thickness I am used to from origami paper. Since the gold side is foil (the back is white paper), it's important to practice and master the shape you want to fold with plain paper first. Foil paper is quite unforgiving and quickly and easily creases or creases where you don't want it, so mastering the shape and working slowly and carefully with this paper is important. Note that the seller is shipping from Japan and it took me 20 days to arrive on the US west coast. So plan to wait a while for your package to arrive.
