I was very excited when I stumbled across this thermometer - it had a simple design with a modern and minimalist style and useful features like the auto shut-off and magnetic lid. When it arrived the product would not turn on. I replaced the batteries with new button batteries and the product worked, but the next day I used the product it was dead again. I repeated this process and the second battery died within a day of the first use. I contacted Greater Goods to give them an opportunity to endorse their product before I write a review and I'm glad I did! The company responded very quickly and was very accommodating. They sent out a new product that arrived surprisingly quickly. The replacement worked as expected and was everything I expected! Well done, great product. Based on the quality of the product I received and the outstanding customer service, I sincerely believe that the defective unit I originally received was an isolated incident and would have no hesitation in recommending this product.
