Unpacked today and used for the first time. It was packaged very well, everything was in its cozy compartment so everything was safely tucked away in the box. The power brush is smaller than I expected. When I put everything together I was skeptical if it was worth the money, it was more like a toy. But once I started using it, it's definitely not a toy! I had to empty it 3 times just because I vacuumed the stairs (17 steps). I emptied my large room 22x26 5 times. I'm impressed with how it handles dog (sled dog) hair and how much fine dirt and dust it picks up. Sucker has power! Like I said, it's pretty quiet. The quietest vacuum cleaner I've ever had. I was concerned that the collection bin would be too small due to a long haired dog, but with so much power there is compression inside the bin allowing it to pack quite a bit into that small space. Almost $300 is a lot, especially for a vacuum cleaner. I was very careful and didn't dare to pull the trigger because it's a brand I've never heard of before. Tineco can thank Consumer Reports for making my business work as they chose it over Dyson as Dyson's quality and reliability were obviously declining. I'm only giving it 4 stars because it doesn't feel particularly solid in my hands, as opposed to a normal upright position. This is my first stick so I'm probably just not used to the lighter design and style. It feels well built, just not solid. Again, these are detachable attachments and parts, so this is probably normal for a stick vacuum. For now I think it was a good buy. I say "goodbye" because I haven't had a full day yet. I'll continue when I've done a few more laps and have a better idea of the overall quality and versatility. Vacuum cleaner! My previous vacuum cleaner (Dirt Devil, upright) could clean the whole house and I only had to empty it once. No kidding, I filled a 13 gallon kitchen jar/bag! Keep in mind that it was mostly dog fur, but still MUCH more than the rack would ever gain. The bottom of the bag was covered in sandy mud about 6 inches deep! I have NEVER had a vacuum that picks up that much let alone how easily it does it. I live in a house with an area of 3 thousand dogs. I bought it brand new 4 years ago, I never run out of kids, I never wear shoes at home. I have absolutely no idea where all this dirt was coming from, let alone my previous vacuum leaving so much behind! I am absolutely amazed at the performance of this thing! Updated quality after further use, I've only had it since yesterday. ****Update**** Still very happy with this vacuum cleaner. Played with a friend's Dyson and I can say that my first impression of it seeming toy and unreliable was due to the style (wireless stick) and not the reflection of the Tineco A11 vacuum, so I'm adding a 5th star , which I held back because of my first impression. complain that the curvature of the base of the nozzle doesn't allow vacuuming under furniture, and that's not true. What needs to be done is rotate the cleaner a quarter turn so the powerhead is at an angle and falls completely flat. (Photos and video attached.) **** Update **** So I feel the need to counter those who complain about a loss of suction power after a few uses. CHECK THE FILTER! As I mentioned how much this thing collected from what my Dirty Devil left behind and how much of it was fine sand mud, well. it cured a cleanable filter VERY quickly! The supplied tool for cleaning the main filter is included for a reason. I had to clean the filter about a dozen times in 4 months. With a freshly cleaned filter, I only spilled a cent and the vacuum cleaner sucked it up immediately, and that in normal mode, not at max. The filter is stupid - easy to clean. It literally just slides in and out of the center of the bin. I've developed a habit of yanking and banging on the rim of the bin every time I empty the bin. It literally takes 2-3 seconds. I only use the cleaning tool about every 10 days or so to remove very fine dirt, if any. (And yes, they include a second filter that can be replaced with a vacuum before using the cleaning tool; you don't use the cleaning tool without a filter.) Engineers have really gone to great lengths to make this vacuum very comfortable to use, superior in use performance and easy to maintain in optimal condition to maintain that performance. 4 months have passed and I still highly recommend this vacuum cleaner!**** August 22, 2020 ****Still valid! I now blow fine dust particles out of the filter every time I empty the bin. I literally vacuum 1-2 times a day so I've used this thing at least 200 times and the suction power hasn't diminished.
