Many years ago, electric fly swatters worked fairly well, but they wore out. Then, a few years later, the followers were weak-willed. Not this one! I expect Tim Taylor the toolmaker to build this particular fly swatter. Yes, sparks fly that far and they kill anything that comes within inches of them. I also love that it has a UV light to attract the flies to fly towards the fly swatter and all I have to do is sit and wait for them to approach. Then I hit the side button, which turns them off, and they're deader than dead. It even has a shovel and broom to sweep them into the shovel so I don't have to pick up their rotted carcasses.
