Review on Delta RP19804 1300 Catridge Assembly by Anferny Pineda

It was definitely not an easy decision.

My shower was dripping. I searched the internet and found that I need to replace the shower cartridge. I'm a pretty skilled guy so I gave my Delta 1400 series a try. It definitely wasn't as easy as it seemed online. 1. It took me ages to figure out that there was no exposed lock nut and I had to unscrew the handle to get to it. It took a lot of effort to get rid of the lime in 10 years. It must have been a sign of divination as I did it once that I got completely stuck removing the actual handle cover. It was more than anything I've ever experienced. 10 years of rust would be nothing compared to lime. In any case. I ended up inviting a plumber friend of mine to take a look. And he pulled on that thing a lot harder than I would have dared. Pry with screwdrivers. pulls more At least 25 minutes of a VERY aggressive draw. Skin and cover somewhat battered, but not critical. In the end it was removed and it took another round of hard coaxing and twisting, but that keeps the cartridge in place. Eventually I took it off, took out the cartridge and realized I had the wrong part. Trip to HD later and finally back together and leak free. In any case. It wasn't ALMOST as easy as it seemed on the internet. I know I would break something if I continued on my own. hope you have better luck
