iSpring WSP50GR Installation Experience

iSpring WSP50GRI received the item for my home plumbing system renovation project quickly and checked upon opening, just to be safe with all the elements in place i was concerned about the weight of the element the filter is well made but heavy so if you are planning on installing this element I would recommend making some sort of mount for this filter for future installers to make the installation better long term and more durable.I ended up using racks to protect my lines and where this filter is installed I've used two, one on top and one on the bottom and they seem relatively stable and I've had leaks in the SharkBite fittings, but that was my own fault., and I had to use both sticky paste and the included teflon tape together n. So I would highly recommend anyone doing this type of project to use both for all threaded connections as that works best. No leaks were found in either the block itself or the turret, which surprised me. No real pressure drops were noticed and I have three pressure gauges in the system, one on the pressure tank manifold, one on the inlet of the iSpring WGB21B two-stage whole house water system and I think I'll see those differences. I've only noticed a 5 psi difference between supply pressure and outlet pressure. However, I didn't use ยพ inch cords in my setup and used 1 inch cords throughout until hitting the house system, which really shrinks to ยพ inch at this point. So far, and that's only about three days, the filter on my system works as described. For the manufacturer I would add a bracket kit.

Pros
  • Display Design. The whole house rotates in a sediment water filter with a high-strength stainless steel wire mesh of 50 microns. Two threads on both ends: 1" MNPT and 3/4" FNPT, 1/4" flush connector included
Cons
  • Large and bulky
