You're really great. You just beautifully finish embroidery or sew a needle. That being said, it's rubber plastic, meaning you don't have an ugly screw clamp at the top, but you might have to use some interesting maneuvers to clamp the rubber ring-like outer wooden ring. What I do is I have a piece of wood (make sure it's clean) and as soon as I place one side on the embroidery pad attached in the inner ring, I start pressing down on the embroidery with that piece of wood and my weight on a flat, firm surface, eventually pushing the rubber completely to the side. I hope that makes sense. And you really have to pay attention to which side is up, otherwise it's difficult to get the subject on the right side. Of course, you can use this hoop for your work, but I make a punch needle and it's difficult for me to do it in the hoop.
