My 3D printing experience so far has been with PLA and PETG and I thought I would like to invest in learning about ABS. I assure you, this is clearly not the right thread to explore these possibilities. TL; DR: This filament is wet and I've found that it doesn't stick well to the build plate or even to itself. I also found his deformity to be incredibly bad. This is my first ABS coil. Like other previous reviews, I also had to dry it at 160f for 8 hours. I finally managed to glue this filament to the first layer after 27 attempts, but then it warped halfway through the print, lifting the material almost 3mm off the build plate in just 15mm of travel, which is quite is unacceptable and dangerous. for the safety of my cars. I made the body out of cardboard and it helped a little in terms of warping, but only for small prints. (I acknowledge the absurdity of such a gross body and insist on acrylic panels). I would argue that inexperience led to my death but I have since bought another roll from a different brand and managed to get it to print quite easily without drying out. I'm a bit disappointed with how much moisture Novemaker has packed into this coil. (If drying is normal I can certainly agree, although in my experience most threads dry out quite a bit.) If you are new to ABS I can't say it will be easy. Although I'll be leaving this thread due to its ability to scatter light. However, this is where its usefulness ends. After almost 43 attempts. I have found the best settings for me in humid Florida (indoors at 76f and 40% RH): first layer at 245ºC at 110ºC other layers at 235ºC at 100ºC Preheat jacket required dry first layer required 30mm /ps max speed required
