My wife was recently diagnosed with periodontal disease and to keep her teeth clean and prevent bacteria from getting between her gums we chose this floss . We were skeptical at first as it's not a well-known brand, but it works just as well! At first the water pressure on the highest setting was honestly a bit amazing but after a few cleanings she's become a pro and uses this after every meal to keep her teeth clean. I wouldn't use it to replace regular filament but in addition as they seem to do a few other things. You won't get water all over the floor. The instructions also recommend letting it run for a second or two after pouring more water in to flush out the old residual water. This is even more important if you don't use it multiple times a day. The battery lasts quite a long time, we've had it for over a month now, we use it several times a day and we've only had to charge and charge it once. only lasted about an hour. We even took it on a two week trip to Yellowstone and it has held up incredibly well. The head is detachable and fits nicely in a toothbrush case, making travel a little easier. This is definitely a great tool if you are concerned about the health of your teeth and gums.
