I've had several GM remotes that only worked if you pressed the buttons as hard as possible. This repair kit worked great to fix them. To repair, simply clean the removed circuit board with alcohol or lighter fluid. Using a repair kit, cut out the contact point, leaving slightly more area around the point than the point itself. A small square cut works well. Remove the glue from the dot, place it on the PCB pins and press to stick. I punctured all the PCB pins on the consoles.
