450W version weighs 5lbs instead of 4.3lbs. as listed here (350w version weighs 4.3lbs). Quiet: With no load, I have to put my ear close to the transformer to hear the hiss. Efficiency: without load it consumes a fraction of a watt, my kill wattmeter shows 0 watts. Quality: Solid design, with toroidal transformer. Steel base, aluminum plate. All screws are machine screws, not self-tapping screws. The switch is a double pole switch designed to turn off both "phase" and "neutral" when power is removed. The only issue I have, which applies to most multi-voltage products, is that with the supplied European plug there is no guarantee that the outputs will have Live and Neutral on the correct pins. If you care about it, you can test it with a circuit tester. If you are in the US, you can simply use a standard IEC-US cable for input, which will ensure Live and Neutral are on the correct output pins. If you are in the UK, you can use the standard UK IEC cord. Ideally they could add a red LED to indicate incorrect input polarity so the user would know to plug in the input connector differently.
