When I say you need it. WHAT YOU NEED FOR YOUR IPAD! I've bought and returned many Bluetooth keyboards that wouldn't connect properly, stopped working after a week, or just wouldn't turn on. I am a student and use my iPad and laptop extensively. My laptop is a 15 inch HP that weighs a few pounds. It's good, but doesn't quite fit my travel needs just to print a newspaper at a local coffee shop. The little stand that comes with it is nice, but I prefer to use my triple case in public. However, I bought an iPad stand to use this keyboard and I'm afraid I'll never use my laptop again (except for big projects that the iPad can't handle yet). I also like how similar it is to a Mac keyboard. Ideal for many different iPad functions. I also like the on/off button. Many bluetooth keyboards I used and bought didn't have this feature and I had to carry extra batteries everywhere. This item is perfect and would recommend to anyone with an Apple device.
