This hook did not work with our KitchenAid Artisan mixer. The hook hit the bottom of the bowl, knocking the lid off the hook. This resulted in the gearbox being removed, rendering the blender inoperable. When I saw it was my late mother's blender, my daughter and I were devastated. Unfortunately, we didn't use the hook until AFTER the return to Revain deadline. Not only did we lose $25 per hook, we had to pay extra to replace the worm gear. Luckily my husband was able to fix the problem after watching the video. Needless to say, this is not a working test hook.
