The controllers are placed inside and my son begins to turn from side to side just like he actually does in the car

They work as expected. The controllers are placed in it and my son starts turning from side to side, just like in a car. He is only 4 years old, although in his imagination he is. That's exactly what I was hoping for. If anyone doubts it, don't just buy it. They are exactly as pictured and at a pretty good price I must say. I went ahead and bought another set as I usually have a weekend full of kids and the Mario card game is the game of the weekend.
