You can't buy this boot for that much money. Even if you pay more, you really can't. I have a rare bone condition called Charcot foot. I have special braces that I wear every day, but sometimes my foot swells too much to wear them, so I wanted walking shoes. I also like walking shoes when I get out of the shower. It's easier than trying to sit on the toilet and put on a CROW or AFO boot. This cute little boot does the job and isn't your typical gray or black. Let me address a few complaints in other reviews. 1) height. This is a short shoe. 11 inches. The description says a lot of both. If you're 6ft 4in, these are most likely not your boots. I have 5 feet. My AFO is 11.5 inches and comes just below the knee, just like this boot. This is definitely a boot for short people. Probably 10th 1 in 4 years, 15th in 42 years of my life, none of the bubbles worked. No longer than 3 applications anyway. When I got this 1 I threw away the 1 my orthopedist gave me $500 out of my pocket after insurance. Pneumatic bladders have never worked with this 1.3) support. It offers the same support as any other orthopedic boot. Hard plastic supports are in the same place. The straps are in the same place as any other hiking boot of the same size. The only difference is that larger hiking boots have one more strap than this one. I sincerely think people complain about air chambers not working and the amount of support confusing the air patch hiker shoe and they are two completely different things. Air bladders on aircasts usually work but actually provide less support. For the money you can't beat this boot, especially if you want one that's unlike any other, after 4 years of searching (apart from what my ortho got me, they're all black or grey) it's the only one , which can do this, isn't black or grey, and I've had tons of compliments.
