My daughter is 7 years old, she is small for her age but a bit overweight. Size L (6-7 years) fits her perfectly. She may still be able to use it next year as these tights can still stretch. It's perfect for fall/winter. It's thick enough to keep my daughter warm in dresses this fall, but not too thick to keep her warm. She said it was convenient.
