Gets very noisy over time
At first this was a super simple fix to a faulty timer clock motor, then after a few months it got so loud I could hear it through my bedroom wall. It was so annoying that my wife asked me to do something because it disturbed her sleep. I even tried spraying some Teflon grease on the inside, it wouldn't stop beeping loudly so I switch the whole timer to digital. No more noise!
