I bought this for my MacBook Pro 13" (A2251) and it fits PERFECTLY. Snug but not too tight, no shifting around of the computer in the case. I use the case in a vertical tote bag, so I really like having the extra protection at the bottom corners. Would work great in a backpack too. The case is stiff enough to keep it's shape in my tote after I take my computer out. I used to carry my accessories and charging cord in a separate zip case, but no longer. I can fit everything I need plus accessories for my cell in the front pocket. The design of the front pocket is thoughtful to securely tuck in cables and small gadgets without kinking or crowding while keeping things in easy access. Really like the little zip pouch in the front compartment. The zipper pulls are really nice, and the handle on the back is just right for pulling the whole case out of the bag.
