I am comparing this frame to my 7 year old 10 inch screen - the technology has improved a lot! Picture quality is pretty good, which is to be expected given the FHD. Resolution and IPS display. Bright, viewable at wide angles, and colors look real (many displays have red issues when viewed from wide angles - this one is perfect). There's plenty of internal storage for pictures, but if you want more videos you'll probably need an SD card. It supports a variety of formats. I tested MP4, MOV and AVI with no problems - smooth playback and clear sound (decent for a portable device, no sound system :)) It was everything I expected. The surprise was the additional features, the most notable of which is Wi-Fi. They have an app that allows you to transfer photos and videos straight from your phone. No problem with the iPhone - super cool. Haven't had a chance to try the email option yet - had to investigate the security aspect - but I've used my GDrive and it worked great! This is a great feature if you want to share photos with parents who are struggling with the technology. Overall, I really liked this frame: Great display, intuitive remote control and wireless connection open up a lot of possibilities.
