Highly recommend this shaver for first time buyers or even those just looking for a new shaver. I have had a beard for many years and the hardest part about maintaining it has been the clean lines. I thought about buying a straight razor for a while and started researching. After weeks of searching I came across this one and the reviews were enough to convince me to jump in. The price was quite good too, especially considering the extra 100k bars. The first impression of the shaver was good. It feels like it was made with high quality and not in a hurry. The blades are a bit deceptive, although once securely attached they lose any semblance of that fragility in the hand. I was very impressed with him on all levels. The first shave was smooth, no problems. I didn't even cut myself, which was always a big concern. I cleaned up the lines and even fixed some that are always problematic. Grooming was not a problem for either the face or the razor. I disassembled the razor by removing the blade, then I cleaned the razor myself and let it dry. I think with 100 razors, one per shave, not so bad. I finally applied some after lotion and didn't have an ounce of regret, it was a win, a win! Overall this is a good deal and a great shaver. If you're on the fence, do it! Take the plunge and try. You will not regret it.
