Weak I returned them

As a Wavebird owner I wanted to buy some cheap third party controllers to play with my kids wirelessly. The first controller I tried worked fine (even with the Mayflash adapter), but there were a lot of issues. The key was very tightly connected to the GC controller connector. It took effort and care to plug it in, which isn't ideal for adults, let alone kids. - The connector on the key was unplugged when I removed the key from the GC port. This is categorically unacceptable. I don't have to worry about disconnecting cables if I need to move the controller to another system. All buttons are very intrusive, they don't feel like a Gamecube controller. They feel worse than your old-school Mad Katz controllers. The best way I can describe it is that there is an air pocket behind the buttons that snaps into place. It feels like the molds for each of the buttons are about twice as thin but twice as tall as the original buttons. This gives the feel of a switch click instead of a soft button press. (If that was the only problem I would put up with it for the price). - The controllers are quite light. Again, casting seems to favor subtle forms over something more permanent. I returned my devices due to an important issue, but due to overall cheapness I cannot recommend this product. I'd rather use my old GC controllers along with the GBros adapter and deal with the dangling key instead of using those controllers. For enthusiasts who want an original Wavebird controller, I suggest either buying the Wavebird or customizing the controller yourself.
