Beware if there is evidence of benzoyl peroxide in the property

Super soft and beautiful and good price for the thickness, size and softness so I'm giving them two stars instead of one but they are too SIMPLY WHITE. My son and I use a benzoyl peroxide facial toner in the shower. The first time he used a new towel, it had a HUGE fully bleached stain - like there was no color left - where he wiped his face after the shower. Of course he rinsed his face off, but apparently there was still some dregs left on it. I figured, well, it must have been his 16-year-old self that caused it, so I tried it myself, very consciously rubbing and wiping my face in the shower to make sure there wasn't a drop of cleanser left. My own towel still had bleach stains, although not as dramatically. This morning I did it a third time, this time wiping my face with a separate old towel (after the same thorough rinsing/rubbing in the shower) and then a second time superficially drying my new towel. This STILL resulted in new discoloration spots. We've had colored towels in the past not discoloring with the same detergent, so we know you can coexist peacefully with colored towels and benzoyl peroxide, especially when it's washed off in the shower. They just don't stain quickly. They haven't faded in their only wash so far and my husband's towel is fine so far so there don't seem to be any other products just the mere mention of the name benzoyl peroxide. We have the colors of the sea wave - a gorgeous shade. Maybe the whites do it? Aside from the incredible lightening (<β€” did you see what I made there?), these are beautiful, absorbent, soft towels.
